COVID-19

Hello, patients of Blevins Dentistry. I’d like to share with you our plan moving forward in regards to the Coronavirus. I know that you all have received a lot of information over the last few days, so I will keep it as brief as I can.

We plan to be open during our normal working hours starting at 9:00 a.m. on Monday.

We want to assure you that we care about your safety. We are closely monitoring the DHEC and CDC info, and we are following all of the CDC recommended infection control guidelines. We do this everyday routinely, and the following are some examples of these important steps:

Before you enter a treatment room all surfaces are cleaned and disinfected. Non-disposable items such as dental tools are sterilized between patients. Disposable tools are always discarded and never reused. All clinical staff utilizes protective equipment such as masks and gloves at all times.

We are also taking extra precautions such as wiping down door knobs, waiting room furniture, and counter tops throughout the office during the day. Hand sanitizer and antimicrobial soap will be available in the waiting room, and as always in the restroom, reception desks, and treatment rooms. Please join us in washing/ sanitizing your hands as you come in and as often as possible.

If you are ill with flu-like and/or respiratory symptoms, (sore throat, dry cough, high fever, shortness of breath; if you have been in contact with a COVID-19 patient; or if you have recently traveled outside of the country, please call our office and reschedule your appointment.

If you are elderly, or a patient with conditions causing a compromised immune system, please consider your own situation carefully, and decide what is right for you.

If you are healthy and feeling well, there is no need to reschedule or cancel your dental appointment.

Please rest assured that the health and well-being of you and our staff is of the utmost importance, and we will continue to do all we can to minimize the risks and protect the health of those in our care. We are praying for you, your families, and our nation as we remain confident that God will deliver us and see us through this trial.
